The Asian Business Association of Wyndham (ABAWyn) was established in 2018 with a vision to support the Asian community and businesses in the City of Wyndham. As a not-for-profit organization, ABAWyn is committed to fostering a culturally diverse and cohesive community while promoting a thriving business environment. ABAWyn’s committee comprises businessmen and professionals who volunteer their time and effort to serve the community. With a growing membership of over 1800 individuals, including students, new families, business owners, and industry professionals, ABAWyn has become an integral part of the Wyndham community.
The organization provides its members with valuable networking opportunities and resources to build connections and share information. ABAWyn works tirelessly to bridge local council, state, and federal members to the Asian community, organizing various multicultural events and initiatives. Since its inception, ABAWyn has successfully organized numerous community events, including the Moon Festival, Australia Day Celebration, and various sports tournaments. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization demonstrated its commitment to the community by organizing mask donations and distribution for elderly and vulnerable residents.
