On April 16, 2022, the first Wyndham Cup Table Tennis Grand Competition, organised by the ABA of Wyndham and the Melbourne Table Tennis Club was held at Eagle Stadium, Werribee.
A total of 64 players participated in the competition, categorised as the professional group and the amateur group, fighting for championship through group round-robin. The arena was filled with the desire to win, the excitement and the enthusiasm for the game.
Although the game was titled as Wyndham Cup, under the vigorous promotion of Guangyuan Zhang, president of the Table Tennis Club and Larry Zhao, president of the ABA of Wyndham, it attracted players from the southeast of Melbourne and the Geelong Table Tennis Association to join as well.
Hard work has been rewarded, as players shouting out with strength. Applause and congratulations to everyone that has participated!
